Leather Cord Overhand Knot DIY Lesson
1. Making the First Overhand Knot
Taking a strand of leather, we will name one end as side A, the other as B. Cross side A over the top of side B to make a Q shape. Pull side A around side B and through the center of the cube. Do not pull both sides of the cord. Slide the knot to tighten.
2. Repeating the Overhand Knot
Taking a strand of leather, we will again name one end as A and the other as B. Cross the end of the chord side A over the top of the other end, side B again to make a Q shape. Full side A around side B and up through the center of the Q, then repeat. Do not pull both sides of the cord. Slide the knot to tighten.
3. Additional Repetition of the Overhand Knot
Taking a strand of leather, once again we will name one end as A, the other is B. Cross side A over the top of side B, making a Q shape, pull side A around side B and through the center of the Q. Repeat this step two more times. Do not pull both sides of the cord. Slide the knock to tighten.
